J&J Coles Private Terms and Conditions of HireBOOKINGSThe Company confirms all bookings in writing and it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that details contained within are accurate. The Company declines all liability for loss or inconvenience, which may arise out of inaccurate bookings. The company does not guarantee to complete any journey in any given time and will not be held accountable for any loss or inconvenience which may arise, from the delay or detention of any vehicle arising from any cause whatsoever. Whilst the Company endeavours to arrive at the stated venue at the time required, it cannot be held responsible for late arrival due to incidents beyond its control, i.e. traffic conditions, accidents, breakdowns etc. Should the vehicle be detained by the hirer, or be taken on a longer journey than contacted for, the Company reserves the right to make a proportionate additional charge. The company reserves the right to decline any booking and to request any passenger to leave the vehicle if it deems his/her conduct to be incompatible to the comfort of other passengers or driver. DRIVERS HOURS REGULATIONSThe hirer undertakes to abide by all statutory requirements and regulations, :which may in any way effect the journey in question. Drivers arc familiar with those regulations and will comply with all reasonable requests of members of the party. (The driver will be the judge of the reasonableness as circumstances permit). The hirer will depart from the destination or stopping places at the agreed times to ensure compliance with these regulations and will on no account wait for members of the party who have failed to join the vehicle at the appointed time. The Company declines all liability for loss, inconvenience, damage or injury arising from failure to convey any such member of the party. PAYMENTNON ACCOUNT CUSTOMERS ONLY All payments must be cleared a minimum of twenty one days prior to commencement of journey, failure to comply with these terms will deem the booking automatically cancelled without prior notice from the Company. ACCOUNT CUSTOMERS ONLY: All payments from account customers will be deemed DUE no later than 21 DAYS from DATE OF INVOICE PARKINGCoach/Car Parking - unless stated on the invoice is NOT INCLUDED in the price. We cannot predict the costs of parking tariffs at Venues visited - therefore it is up to the hirer to pay the parking ticket on the day, and the driver will produce a ticket as evidence of Coach/Car parking costs. CANCELLATIONIt is our Company Policy to request a £50.00 non refundable deposit. A cancellation of less than 24 hours will be charged at 50% of invoice total. If cancelled on arrival 100% will be payable. The deposit is used to offset administration costs which are quite considerable and also goes some way, to recuperating losses due to having turned work away Cancellation by the Company; The Company reserves the right to cancel any hire booking giving reasonable notice. The Company declines all liability for loss or inconvenience suffered as a consequence of such action. ALCOHOLNo alcohol will be permitted inside the vehicle at any time under any circumstances. All alcohol must be stowed in the exterior luggage compartment. Should the vehicle require valeting due to negligence or alcohol illness a charge of £100 will be made to cover costs incurred. DAMAGEAny damage, breakages etc, to the vehicle upholstery, trimmings or seat belts will be the responsibility of the hirer who will be invoiced for the necessary repairs. All our vehicles are strictly NON-SMOKING offenders may be liable for a fine of up to £500.00 resulting from any damage. SEAT BELTSAll our vehicles are fitted with seat belts conforming to EU regulations, it is up to the hirer (not the driver) to ensure that seat belts are worn The Company will not be held responsible for any claims resulting from the non or misuse of seat belts. LUGGAGEThe carriage of luggage is entirely at the owner’s risk, the Company will not be held responsible for any damage to, or loss of. personal property carried within the luggage area or within the passenger area of the vehicle. Whilst we endeavour to estimate the amount of luggage transported on airport runs, we are restricted on luggage compartments sizes. It is strictly forbidden to load luggage in the aisle of the coach for obvious safety reason. If we feel it is necessary to arrange for a larger vehicle to carry luggage in excess of notification this will be charged accordingly. Please note this does not necessarily equate with the number of persons carried. COMPLAINTSIf you have a problem or complaint it is essential that you inform the driver immediately, if you wish to make a more formal complaint, please notify our office in writing no later than 7 days after your journey. Acceptance of this confirmation/invoice signifies agreement to the above terms and conditions. |
